In Bettiah, a young man sexually exploited a divorced woman for 5 years on the pretext of marriage and when she started pressurizing him to marry her, he left her at Gorakhpur railway station in Uttar Pradesh and ran away. The woman has met the SP and pleaded for justice in the matter. The incident took place in a village of Lauria police station area of the district.
The victim complained to the SP and on the instructions of the SP, an FIR was registered at Lauria police station. The victim applied to the police and told that she was married to a young man 9 years ago and has two children from him. But there was a disagreement over some issue and a divorce took place. After that, 27-year-old Habiburman, son of Mohammad Azim of the same village, continued sexually abusing her for 5 years on the pretext of marriage.
He was taken to Punjab for a year and kept there and sent him to people’s homes to earn money by washing utensils. Then they kept me in Delhi also for a few days. When the victim used to pressurize her to get married, the hotel always showed reluctance. Then, saying that he was going home, he brought him by train and left him at Gorakhpur station and ran away, along with that he also ran away with the jewelery and fifty thousand rupees kept with him.
FIR registered in the case
When his family members and some officials went to his door to inquire about this, he and his family members started abusing and beating him. Meanwhile, Lauria police station incharge Santosh Kumar said that an FIR has been registered in the matter. The police is busy investigating the matter.
